I'm New Here!
St. Jude Parish is a dynamic faith-filled community dedicated to preaching and practicing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Come celebrate Mass with us! We would love to see you!
I spent my youth playing the trumpet, guitar, and singing in a wide variety of musical organizations. I benefited from membership in Catholic Youth Organizations such as St. Joseph’s Grenadiers of Medford, MA, as well as the Queensmen Drum and Bugle Corp of Winchester, MA. As a singer/songwriter, I have one recorded album. As a trumpet player, I once enjoyed a season with the Brookline Symphony Orchestra. In 1989, I was awarded a partial wind player scholarship by Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where I studied music education and performance as a trumpet principal and graduated Cum Laude with a B.M. in Music Education. In 1995, I earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Scranton University in Scranton, PA.
I have taught music and directed choral groups, both privately and within the Massachusetts Public School System, for twenty four years. I have worked with every grade level, pre-school through twelfth grade, and mentored college students as well as first year teachers. I have been blessed by the Lord with a love of music, the skills to play music, and the desire to share music for my entire life. He has now blessed me with the opportunity to use all of my experience to minister music for Him alongside my brothers and sisters in Christ, His beloved members of the St. Jude Parish and Choir.
The parishioners of St. Jude are my neighbors, my friends, and my family. They have been there for me in difficult times and have shared in my times of joy. I am humbly honored and grateful to have been given the opportunity to serve the Lord (alongside the many other talented musicians he has surrounded me with) in the St. Jude Choir. I pray that, with the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary and all the Angels and Saints, that our work is guided by the Holy Spirit, draws all souls to be nourished by the Eucharist, and is pleasing to God the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.
