The Finance Committee holds quarterly finance meetings to review the financial condition of the parish as to revenues and expenses. At those meetings, we discuss ways to reduce expenses and/or increase income along with other issues that are related to the financial operations of the parish.
On an annual basis, we prepare a budget for the upcoming year based on information derived from the parish records of the current year and from the reports the Diocese provides as to their estimate of cost services they provide such as liability, workmen’s compensation and health insurance, as well as the Diocesan projected assessments and schedule of collections for the upcoming year.
